One of them was “Well defined success”. This one really hit home with me because I’ve experienced that myself.
If you give someone a task that they don’t fully understand they will be much less motivated to get it done.
But, when you set them up for success by teaching them and clearly defining the next steps you will find a much more eager team member.
I believe it’s because it removes the fear of the unknown for them. If they know what to expect they will be much more inclined to proceed with enthusiasm.
